Just Keep Swimming…

“Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.” Napoleon Hill

Feeling determined...

I took this selfie the other day while st my Ideal Protein weigh-in/ coaching appointment.
Its been a tough couple of weeks and my coach, Eva, and I have been working on getting me over this plateau I’ve hit. Honestly, I got a little bored. I was tired of eating the same shit! Eva explained that even though I was having gains of a few pounds (from cheating), it is important to keep sticking to the plan and keep coming to my weekly appointments. We remixed my menu a bit and got Tomi back on board and I think I am headed in the right direction again. Most importantly, no matter how tempted I was, I didn’t quit.

Ideal Protein Update…

I went off my plan a bit this past weekend so I was concerned about what my numbers would be. Well, I lost -2.9lbs and another -3.25 total inches. I was super happy about that!
I am now back on my game and I will continue to peel off the pounds. I have a little over a year to reach the goal I set for myself and I am on track and well on my way.
I have also decided that I am going to put way a dollar for every pound I lose plus, $50 every payday so that I can afford a new wardrobe when my current clothing becomes too big. I am feeling good about my progress and very encouraged.

Love From My Biggest Fan

As of January 27th, 2011, I am an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay. I had sold Tomi enough on the idea to give me the money for my starter kit but other than that, I thought she couldn’t be bothered.
Well, one night I go out to my car after work and I see an envelope on my dash. The first thing I did is back up from the car and survey the area all the while who had been in my truck. Once I was sure things were safe, I got in and opened the envelope. In it was a card telling me how fabulous I am (which I never get tired of hearing). There was a note written in it from Tomi telling me how proud she was of me for stepping out of my comfort zone and starting my Mary Kay business.
She has been a great sounding board, brainstorming partner, walking advertisement and a really good sport about letting me scrub and rub stuff on her face. I appreciate having her support as I work to build my business.
